Community Philanthropy Hub
The Community Philanthropy Hub is a regional knowledge and practice centre dedicated to advancing community philanthropy across Africa. At a time when the continent is often portrayed as passive and aid-dependent, the Hub amplifies stories of collective action, self-reliance, and locally driven change led by Community Foundations in the continent.
The platform serves as a continuous learning space offering digital training in areas such as community leadership, local fundraising, organisational management, and essential digital tools for Community Foundations and other community organisations. It is also a permanent repository of research, tools, and knowledge designed to strengthen the growth of community philanthropy. The hub chiefly aims to empower grassroots actors to ably mobilise local resources, strengthen leadership, and drive sustainable development in their communities.
